The "Vignaiolo experience" for a day is a unique opportunity to get to know first hand the world of wine and viticulture in one of the most suitable areas of Campania: Sannio Beneventano.
The activity is carried out in one of the most fascinating wineries of Taburno and includes a tour of the vineyard with the explanation of the phenological phases of the cycle of the vine and a time dedicated to manual harvesting where, equipped with scissors and gloves, you will learn how to pick grapes with the help of local operators and learn about the world of wine.
At the end of the harvest you can try your hand at an ancestral ritual that involves crushing grapes with your feet in wooden vats, as our grandparents did, between stories, laughter and the aromas of fresh must.
After the "work in the vineyard" phase you can enjoy a well-deserved bucolic moment of relaxation tasting a farmer aperitif among the rows of the renowned Falanghina del Sannio DOP where you will deepen the characteristics of the wines in tasting and you can compare yourself on the notions learned from the activities in the vineyard.
Leaving the vineyard you will be accompanied to discover the wonderful winery with a guided tour of the farm by the technical staff to know all the steps that involve the transformation of grapes until its vinification and aging in barrels and amphorae.
The tour ends with a delicious lunch and wine pairing in the magical atmosphere of the winery.

The grape harvest experience is available from 26 September to 20 October by reservation only.
For the harvesting phase, that is the manual harvesting of the grapes of the company, you will be equipped with scissors and gloves to be able to carry out the activity. It is a didactic activity where no physical effort or use of agricultural means will be foreseen.
We strongly recommend a shoe replacement given the changing conditions of the soil in the vineyard.
The characteristic crushing of the grapes requires that the participants (who intend to make this experience) enter wooden vats containing the freshly picked grapes and with a sudden movement of the legs and feet crush the grapes between laughter and the scent of must.
