If you are looking for an activity away from the routine and frenzy of everyday life, this trekking path might be for you! Close to the cities of Naples and Caserta, you will find the Parco Regionale del Matese, a fascinating place with breathtaking views and lush nature. With just over an hour’s drive, you will reach the town of “Bocca della Selva”, characterized by the presence of typical mountain refuges. Here you will find an environmental hiking guide who, with a brief explanation, will introduce you to the surrounding area. You will begin your journey towards the top of Monte Mutria, following nature trails in the shade of centuries-old beech trees, which will allow you to reach the mountaintop at 1800 meters above sea level. From there, during the springtime and periods when there is no fog or mist, you will be able to see both the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. You will get to know the places that represent the natural border between Campania and Molise, where the unspoilt nature and unique panoramas will give you unforgettable emotions. After the stop in one of the best viewpont for taking breathtaking photos you will return to the starting point near the refuge of Bocca della Selva.
