Discover the hinterland of Campania and experience an unforgettable day at Grassano Park, a naturalistic gem located in the picturesque setting of Telesina Valley, in the heart of Sannio Beneventano.

Climb aboard a characteristic little boat and sail through the watery forest of the Rio Grassano, renowned since ancient times for being a small natural pearl, characterised by its clear waters and very low temperatures. During the navigation you can observe the flora and fauna that make this park unique, with hygrophilous plants that can also be seen on the river bed, and if you are lucky you may even see geese and nutria that inhabit the banks. 

On your return from your boat ride, you can enjoy the beautiful picnic areas in the shade of the centuries-old poplar groves, equipped with every comfort with wooden tables or gazebos, barbecues, light points and water points. There are also numerous paths and nature trails within the park that you can explore with a guided tour by the oasis managers.

The package with boat tour includes the use of picnic tables for a minimum of 8 people.

TABLES, BARBECUES, AND WATER POINTS

The areas are equipped with various types of picnic tables, barbecue facilities (to be shared with other guests in the area), water points and various light points, should you wish to picnic in the evening.

BARBECUE LIGHTING

The equipment needed to light the barbecues (charcoal, sticks, devil's food, etc.) is the responsibility of the guest or can be purchased in-house. It is strictly forbidden to bring flammable substances, such as ethyl alcohol, into the park for safety reasons.

OPENING HOURS OF THE PICNIC AREAS

Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the boat tour may be changed or, in particularly critical cases, cancelled and refunded.
